Citing an Iranian source, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed reported that the delegation was in Doha "to facilitate engagement with the Qatari mediator."
The visit followed intensive discussions between a Qatari negotiating delegation and Iranian officials in Tehran, which reportedly resulted in progress in indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States.
