BEIJING, Dec 8 — A Beijing court ordered Malaysia Airlines today to pay compensation to the families of eight passengers from flight MH370, more than a decade after the plane disappeared.

The Chaoyang District People’s Court said in a statement that 47 other lawsuits had been withdrawn, after the families settled outside of court. — AFP
