, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held, on Tuesday, a bilateral meeting in Doha that took place away from journalists and lasted about two hours.

According to the Turkish “Anadolu Agency”, the Turkish President and the Emir of Qatar held the meeting after the official reception ceremony.

Anadolu Agency said that 15 cooperation agreements were signed in a number of fields and sectors, as a memorandum of understanding in the field of disaster and emergency management was signed between the Presidency of Disaster and Emergency Management of the Turkish Ministry of Interior and the General Directorate of Civil Defense at the Ministry of Interior of Qatar.

And the signing of a protocol between the Turkish and Qatari governments on the implementation of the letter of intent related to cooperation on the implementation of major events.

And agreement on a joint statement of the letter of intent on establishing institutional cooperation between the Antalya Diplomatic Forum and the Doha Forum, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of protocols, and the seventh meeting of the Higher Strategic Committee.

And a memorandum of understanding between the Turkish Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support Department and Qatar Development Bank, and another memorandum of understanding between the Turkish Standards Institute and the Qatar General Standardization Organization.

And agreement on the second executive program in the field of culture for the years 2022-2023 between the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Qatar, and the first executive program in the field of youth and sports between the governments of the two countries for the years 2022-2024.

And the signing of a program agreement for cooperation in the fields of health and medical sciences between the Turkish and Qatari governments.

And a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Qatari Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Investment Office of the Turkish Presidency and the Qatari Businessmen Association, in addition to a cooperation agreement between the Turkish Anadolu Agency and the Qatar News Agency.

It is noteworthy that Erdogan began, on Monday, an official visit to Qatar, which will last for two days.
