Deputy Head of the Administration of the Belarusian Presidency, Olga Chubris, stated that dialogue between the European Union and Minsk is necessary, and may become a way out of the situation about refugees on the Belarus border with the Union.Speaking to ONT, she said: “How can we get out of this situation? It seems to me that the heads of the neighboring countries, Poland, Lithuania and other EU member states should launch a dialogue with the officials and leadership of the Republic of Belarus on the development of a road map, in order to prevent Deteriorating the situation… and overcoming the potential negative consequences that could result in human casualties.”

She added that the upcoming road map would allow unifying efforts to help migrants, stressing that the settlement of the issue should involve the United Nations Commissioners for Human Rights and Refugees.Chubris also called for a legal evaluation of the actions of the Polish security forces towards the refugees.
