Al-Burhan meets with the Ambassador of Qatar in Khartoum (SUNA)
Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan said that arrangements for the announcement of the new government are “going well.”
During his meeting with the Qatari ambassador in Khartoum, Abdul Rahman bin Ali Al-Kubaisi, Al-Burhan praised the “appreciated role played by the State of Qatar in supporting the peace process in Sudan, making the transitional period successful and achieving democratic transformation.”
The Sudanese News Agency quoted Al-Kubaisi as saying that his country is “following with interest the course of events in Sudan” and affirmed Qatar’s support for the choices, aspirations and will of the Sudanese people.
