Amer Hussein, a member of the Clubs Committee, said that there is no problem with holding the Al-Ahly and Ismaili match in Cairo.
Amer Hussein added, in statements to Al-Ahly channel: “The security will determine the position of the Ismaili and Al-Ahly match in Ismailia.”
He continued, “If the security refused to hold the match in Ismailia, the first and second round matches will be held at the Burj Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria.”
The draw for the league was held this afternoon, Tuesday, as it resulted in a confrontation between Ismaili and Al-Ahly in the first round, which is supposed to take place at the “Al-Awal” stadium.
It is worth noting that the draw also witnessed an early summit, unlike Al-Ahly and Ismaili, where the Red Team will face its traditional rival, Zamalek, in the third week.
