PS5: Many pre-orders are still waiting for their consoles

The pre-sale of the Playstation 5 was quite a mess, as many Playstation fans went empty-handed. But even successful pre-orderers did not receive their PS5 in time for the release. More than a week has passed since then. And it looks like some buyers will have to wait a few more weeks.

PS5: Pre-orderers are excited to be tortured

Update from November 30, 2020: The PS5 is currently a sought-after and hard-to-get commodity. Some lucky pre-orderers already have them at home and enjoy next-gen gameplay and graphics. Some opportunists bought the console only to sell it now for absurdly high prices – part for almost 1.000 Euro.

But there are still some pre-orders waiting for their consoles. As GamesWirtschaft reports, the dealers have now announced an approximate delivery window. Accordingly, Medimax declares that the consoles will be shipped on December 9th and no later than 12. December should arrive – but only “if everything goes according to plan.” Other retailers, including GameStop, should pre-order the PS5 no later than 15. December receive.

When will the PS5 be available again? Sony announced on Twitter that additional consoles will be available for order this year. However, an exact date was not given. In addition, delivery will probably only take place in 2021.

PS5: Media Markt plans to deliver on the release date
