Not only the practical performance, but also the thermal properties of the Playstation 5 are examined carefully.

Playstation 5: High memory temperatures at low volume

The YouTube channel Digital Foundry, for example, which specializes in publishing detailed reports on hardware and video games, published a video that examines the volume of the Playstation 5. The bottom line was that the next-gen console delivers a solid performance. Compared to the Playstation 4, the new console seems to be cooler and quieter. Now the YouTube channel Gamers Nexus has published another test that goes a little more in depth.

It was also noted here that the Playstation 5 generally presents rather low noise levels, but the thermal values ​​could still be improved. Specifically, it is about the temperature of the storage tank, which is sometimes over 90 ° Celsius. Of course, these values ​​can only be checked correctly using the on-die sensor and should therefore be enjoyed with caution at first. Gamers Nexus notes, however, that the design of the Playstation 5 leaves a lot to be desired in terms of temperature.
