Russian film models inside mortuary full of corpses showing scale of...

A former Russian beauty queen has filmed a video inside a morgue with corpses in stacked bags to show the scale of the Covid-19 pandemic.Olga Kagarlitskaya, 37, had to recover her father’s body from a mortuary in the town of Samara, in southwestern Russia.

Gennady Kagarlitsky, who was a doctor, died from coronavirus after apparently contracting the coronavirus while transporting Covid-19 victims by ambulance to hospital.

Her daughter Olga – who was Miss Samara 2005 – ignored the mortuary staff who tried to prevent her from seeing how many corpses in black bags were crammed into the morgue.

“Our official statistics kill seven people in Samara (from the coronavirus),” she said on a video.

“Here we see well over seven.”

Later, morgue workers told him they were handling more than 50 bodies of Covid-19 victims at the time of his visit, Olga said.

His claims come from the fact that a former Russian government statistician alleged that the country’s daily death toll figures are “entirely false” and are being masked to hide the grim reality of Wave 2.

Olga also complained that health officials seek to deny that the deaths of many doctors – like her father – were due to Covid-19, to avoid paying compensation of £ 22,600.

“He fell ill at work, while performing his duties,” she says.

Still, he was forced to wait two days for an ambulance to the hospital where he had worked for 23 years, she said.

Once admitted, Mr. Kagarlitsky was a patient for over two weeks and died after being put on a ventilator.

Olga claims to have been informed by agents in the morgue that an operation is underway to falsify the death certificates of health workers, implying that they died of causes other than the coronavirus.

Grieving Olga – who now has her own fashion label – said: “A morgue worker told me that I cannot expect reliable and independent research (into the cause of death) as she focuses on a call from above, on a conversation with the ministry, with Moscow.

“All this is done so as not to pay compensation to the families of medical workers who died in the line of duty.”

Her father worked in the ambulance service of a military hospital that looked after veterans for 23 years, she said.

“He was a military doctor, an officer.

“He came back from vacation and got sick at work. ”

His complaints about an alleged cover-up are echoed by Alexey Raksha, 42, a former population forecaster at Russia’s Federal Statistical Service.

He resigned this summer alleging manipulation of Covid-19 data.

Russia announced a daily death toll of 352 on Sunday.

But he believes the actual daily death toll is currently between 2,400 and 2,800.

He accused the Russian leaders of “dissident Covid” of “twisting” the statistics to show that “things are better here than anywhere else”.
