The life of a man is threatened following an incident which occurred near a grain elevator on Friday in Montmagny.
The individual would have found himself under several feet of corn. The circumstances remain to be determined, but a collapse would have occurred at 470 Boulevard Taché Ouest, near Route 132.

When the emergency services arrived, shortly after 2:45 p.m., the person was already in cardiac arrest.
The 40-year-old victim was taken to hospital.

The investigators asked for help from the Commission for Standards, Equity, Health and Safety at Work (CNESST).
