And he added, “I offer a special apology to the police for what happened to my sons, towards those who fulfill their lives in our service and who are watching our security, and who endure difficulties in order to protect us.”
The counselor concluded his apology statement directing his speech to the Egyptian people, saying, “I have a deep sense of shame over the behavior of my son, whom I pledge before you that I will undertake his evaluation and I pledge to you that no other offensive behavior will occur from him.”
On Monday, the Public Prosecution decided to deposit “Ahmed”, the son of Judge Abu Al-Majd, for a week in a (governmental) nursing home in order to assess his behavior, and to imprison his colleagues for 4 days pending investigations.
