A British diplomat cites a quote by Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, and...

The spokesperson for the British government in the Middle East and North Africa, Rosie Diaz, cited a quote by the companion Abi Bakr Al-Siddiq, in which he recommends not to cut trees and destroy the land.

Diaz posted a tweet on her Twitter account, in which she said, “Caliph Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him, says: Do not cut fruit trees, do not destroy a young, and do not spit a sheep or camel except for food, and do not burn palm trees and do not drown them.”

“Today begins the countdown to the Climate Action Summit (No. 26), which will be held in Britain next year,” Diaz added. “It is our duty to preserve the planet so that we can together address the phenomenon of climate change.”

It is noteworthy that Britain will host the United Nations climate summit in November next year, after the summit that was to be held later this year was postponed due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
