Condor airline begins flights to Cuba with 150 German tour operators...

Cuba. As part of the tourist opening of Cuba after the Covid and in the new normality, the first flight of the Cóndor airline arrived this Saturday at the Juan Gualberto Gómez de Varadero airport with 150 tour operators and travel agents that will start with Iberostar a three-day familiarization program.

For his part, Alexei Torres, Marketing Director of Iberostar Hotels in Cuba, said that among the activities that this group of tour operators will carry out are a meeting with Miguel Fluxá, president of Iberostar, at the Gran Packard hotel, as well as a tour of the capital. Cuban, combining the urban product with the beach one, in addition to knowing the famous Tropicana cabaret.

He expressed his satisfaction with the opening of the European market with a safe and healthy stay, as Cuba makes a difference in the Caribbean “we know that customers from Europe and Canada want to visit the Caribbean region, however, Cuba’s health management including its candidate Sovereign vaccine against Covid-19 makes the difference, “said the executive.

The Iberostar chain has a significant presence in Cuba, and in this first stage the Iberostar Selection Varadero, Iberostar Selection Bella Vista Varadero and Iberostar Tainos hotels are scheduled to open in Varadero.

In the coming weeks the hotels in Cayo Santamaría, Villa Clara and Cayo Guillermo, Ciego de Ávila will open their doors.

The group of tour operators is accompanied by senior executives from Schauinsland Reisen and DRV, along with representatives from the German embassy in Cuba and executives from Cóndor and the DER Touristik firm.
