In a new interview with US music writer David Fricke, the band reveals how they put previous differences aside after meeting at Young’s funeral in Sydney on November 28, 2017. Young died on November 17, 2017 at the age of 64.

Singer Brian Johnson, bassist Cliff Williams and drummer Phil Rudd all attended the ceremony at St. Mary’s Cathedral: at the time, the three musicians were considered former members of AC / DC, and Johnson left the band during their time Skirt or bust Tour in April 2016, citing hearing problems, Rudd fell from grace after his arrest in November 2014 and Williams dropped his bass after completing the Skirt or bust World Travel. “After Malcolm died, Brian and Cliff came to the funeral,” says Angus Young. “Phil and Stevie came in. I was happy to see Phil. He was handsome and kept in good health. He was the best I’ve had. ”I’ve ever seen him. ”

“I had a good conversation with Angus,” says Rudd. “It’s easy to get lost in your own thoughts. I was very aware of what the band was doing. But I was in good shape. I am a nervous energy guy. I’ve never been unfit. And we really get out, me and Ang. ”

“That was a nice day,” says Brian Johnson. “The band members sat together and talked. I am not a religious or spiritual person, but it is so obvious now that something has happened. ”
