Acer made a number of announcements at its global conference, including the new Chromebook Enterprise Spin 513, which is based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7c computing platform.

The Enterprise Spin 513 weighs 1.2 kilograms, is equipped with Chrome OS and has an 8 nm octacore Qualcomm Kryo 486 CPU, a 13.3-inch full HD touchscreen display, and a battery life of up to to 14 hours and the option for 4G LTE connectivity.

Zero-touch enrollment is also available so users are automatically enrolled in company administration as soon as they connect to the Internet.

The company also announced the Chromebox Enterprise CXI4, which uses a chip with a 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor. It also has up to five USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports in addition to one USB 3.2 Type-C and two HDMI ports, Intel Wi-Fi 6 and an RJ45 port for faster internet connection.

The Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 513 will be available in EMEA from February 2021 from 699 euros, followed by North America in March 2021 from 700 US dollars.

The Chromebox Enterprise CX14 will also be available in the first quarter of 2021 from 639 euros in EMEA and 410 US dollars in North America.

Acer also took the opportunity to add three new members to its TravelMate range: Spin P4, P4 and P2. All three models have 11th generation Intel Core processes with Iris graphics and the option of Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPUs, e-SIM-capable 4G LTE connectivity and are less than 20 millimeters thick.

The P4 and Spin P4 are also equipped with a tamper protection chip that checks for signs of intrusion when the system starts up.

Availability of these new additions to the TravelMate series will begin in October with the release of P2 in China starting at 4,999 yuan.

In November, P2, P4 and Spin P4 will be released in EMEA for € 759, € 899 and € 999 respectively. In the same month, the P4 and Spin P4 will also be available in the UK from £ 829 and £ 899, respectively.

In December, the P4 and Spin P4 will launch in North America starting at $ 900 and $ 1,000, respectively, followed by the launch of P2 in March 2021 at a starting price of $ 800.

The ConceptD 7 and ConceptD 7 Pro notebooks have also been updated and contain 10th generation Intel Core processes and heat cooling technology that reduces the noise level to below 40 dB (A).

The updated versions of ConceptD 7 and ConceptD 7 Pro will be available in EMEA in October starting at € 2,899 and € 3,699 respectively, while North America will get them in December starting at $ 3,230 and $ 3,500 respectively.
