ICAC accidentally publishes the Daryl Maguire transcript

Minutes of evidence about the relationship between Prime Minister Gladys Berejiklian and shamed MP Daryl Maguire were accidentally released on Thursday.

The Independent Commission against Corruption (ICAC) incorrectly published the minutes on its website at around 4:45 p.m. It wasn’t removed until around 5:18 p.m.

The minutes recorded evidence that Mr Maguire had brought before the Commission during a closed session to further investigate the nature of Mr Maguire’s relationship with the Prime Minister.

It was not made public because it “enters into matters of significant privacy”.

The chief commissioner issued an urgent suppression order on Thursday stating, “No part of this version of the transcript may be published, copied, or written on in a manner that reveals its contents.”
