To date, the Alstom site in Fez has contributed to more than 20 railway projects around the world and it will increase the production capacity of electrical cabinets and harnesses for railway applications and the electrical cabling which are installed on rolling stock of ‘Alstom.

The 400 employees have left the old premises to move to this new site, which is now operational and also located in Fez, Morocco. Despite the COVID pandemic, the site was delivered on time, as Alstom Maroc announced last year at a press conference. The new factory is now ready to meet growing customer needs.

In the future, Alstom Fès is also committed to increasing the pool of local talent and to engaging more as well as supporting the socio-economic development of the region. In addition, the new 34,200 square meter site will provide its employees with a work environment that is both comfortable and safer while having a positive impact.
