The health authorities in Iraq also recorded the death of 58 people, bringing the total deaths due to infection with the Coronavirus to 9,970 cases.

The World Health Organization has warned against laxity in combating the outbreak of the Coronavirus, revealing that Covid-19 infections around the world have reached about 38 million and 81 thousand cases, of whom about one million and 86 thousand have fallen, most of them in Europe and the Americas.

Five Iraqi medical and health unions are continuing a strike that started on Sunday in all governorates. The strikers threatened to continue escalation if their demands were not met, which included the dismissal of the Minister of Health and improvement of salaries and allowances.

The Iraqi authorities revealed that by the end of this year, they will receive 10 million doses of two vaccines, one British and the other Chinese, for the Corona virus.

Egypt recorded 132 new cases of the virus, in addition to 10 deaths in the last 24 hours. The total number of cases of Coronavirus has reached 104,648, of whom about 6,062 died as of Monday.

The Minister of Health ruled out a return to full or partial lockdown, and said that 56 percent of Corona deaths in Egypt were chronic diseases.

Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Health said that the country is ready for any second wave of Corona virus, after its success in facing the first wave.

In Kuwait, the Ministry of Health recorded eight deaths today, Tuesday, bringing the total recorded deaths to 672 deaths, and the Ministry also recorded 844 new cases of corona, bringing the total number of injuries in the country to 112737.

In the UAE, the authorities recorded two new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths due to corona infection to 448, and 1315 new cases of the virus of different nationalities were recorded, at the highest daily rate since the epidemic was monitored in the country, bringing the total number of infections to 108,608 people.

In Libya, the National Center for Disease Control announced 12 deaths, bringing the total number of deaths recorded from infection with the Coronavirus to 656, and the registration of 1,164 new infections, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 44,985.

In the Palestinian territories, the health authorities recorded four new deaths in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, bringing the total deaths due to corona infection to 459, and the registration of 516 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of infections to 56,467.

The Ministry of Health in Qatar recorded 214 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total to 2,812.

The Sultanate of Oman recorded 213 new infections, bringing the total of people infected with Coronavirus to 107,000, of whom 1053 fell.
