Little Mix announced early this morning that Jesy Nelson will miss tonight’s final after feeling uncomfortable.
A spokesperson for the group said in a statement: “Jesy is not doing well and he won’t appear in the finale of Little Mix The Search tonight.”
“She won’t appear or appear at tomorrow’s MTV EMAs either [Europe Music Awards]. ”
Little Mix also commented on the news on Twitter, saying, “We’re so sad that Jesy can’t come to see us tonight, but we have such a great show in store for all of you.”
Nelson is the second member of the group to miss the Little Mix The Search live shows after Jade Thirlwall was forced to self-isolate in late October and videolinked during the first episode of Battle of the Bands.
Both Nelson and Thirlwall appeared with other members of the group to judge last night’s semifinals, which were due to air last Saturday but were postponed at the last minute following Boris Johnson’s announcement of the lockdown.
