But don’t think compressed filming means you won’t miss out on any drama. Judging by this season’s trailer, it’s Captain Lee certainly for difficult guests and an unruly crew.

There are some familiar faces that return to Under deck Franchises this season including Bosun Eddie Lucas. Lucas, who appeared in the series’ first three seasons, is back after a five-year hiatus to lead the deckhands. But the majority of the crew are full of fresh faces – and that includes a few new deckhands helping out at sea, like crew member James Hough.

He’s got loads of charisma.

According to his official Bravo biography, Hough is “a charismatic guy from northern England”. He was a private student but dropped out of university two weeks after his college career.

After an incredibly short stay at university, Hough traveled to southeastern France in search of adventure. There he began his yachting career in Antibes.

He is an “incorrigible flirt”.

And here comes the drama. Hough’s Bravo biography doesn’t crush words and calls him “an incorrigible flirt”. In fact, his previous flirtations with stewards almost caught him fired from previous documents.

While his good looks and charm may make him popular with stews, we hope that charisma is enough to charm Captain Lee.

But he doesn’t play all of them.

While Hough enjoys these, um, extracurricular activities, his bio makes it clear that he “always puts his job first”. Hough is reportedly a hard worker with an urge to be successful.

When charm fails, at least his work ethic will impress Captain Lee.
