WWE Raw Results: Draft Picks As The Fiend Moves And Elias...

Stephanie McMahon again oversaw the draft (Photo: WWE)

The WWE draft continued on Raw last night, with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss making the jump from SmackDown.

The second night of the shakeup changed things a little more than Friday’s deal, although there were still some predictable steps to improve the playing field.

On the Raw side, Braun Strowman, Matt Riddle, Jeff Hardy, a returning Elias, Lacey Evans, Sheamus, Nikki Cross and Dabba-Kato made the jump from SmackDown.

Meanwhile, Randy Orton, Charlotte Flair, RETRIBUTION, Keith Lee, R-Truth, Titus O’Neil, Peyton Royce and Akira Tozawa stayed on the red label.

SmackDown was won by Kevin Owens, the tag team of Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, Apollo Crews and Aleister Black.

In terms of draft picks that stay where they are, the blue brand kept the services of SmackDown women’s champ Bayley, Daniel Bryan, Lars Sullivan, King Corbin, IC champion Sami Zayn, Duo Shinsuke Nakamura, and Cesaro and Carmella.

In a predictable move after The New Day traded on Raw a few days ago, Street Profits went the other way and the two teams simply swapped title belts to get the colors back to match each brand.

The best of the rest

Randy Orton hailed his pinfall win over Drew McIntyre in last week’s six-man-tag match that spawned the WWE Champion and sparked a brawl.

The Scottish psychopath threw his opponent on the Raw Announce table as the Viper ran to dodge a Claymore.

The two rivals continued their brawl later that night, fighting behind the scenes of the Dual Brand Number One Contender women’s title Battle Royal during the main event to determine Asuka’s next challenger.

In a state of shock, the final four watched Lacey Evans and Natalya beat Riott and Liv Morgan as the Queen of Hearts seemed to emerge victorious before Lana slipped back, betrayed her former BFF, and won the match.

After the fight, Orton and McIntyre were fighting for the ring when the Apex Predator sent him into the barricade before referees and agents finally pulled them apart to end the show.

Earlier that night, Kevin Owens tossed Aleister Black a table with a sit-up power bomb for a big win in an awesome and physical no disqualification match.

Miz TV didn’t go according to plan, and Miz and John Morrison tried to split Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke, but the two women stood up for each other.

Natalya and Lana came out to discuss the main Battle Royal event, which resulted in a battle between all four stars.

Then Miz and Morrison tried to get things going again, only with Lars Sullivan hitting the ring and beating JoMo when the A-Lister escaped.

Seth Rollins delivered his farewell speech in typically good shape, which led to Jeff Hardy claiming he would take his place despite AJ Styles having something to say about it.

The resulting match was absolutely incredible when Elias returned to deck the Charismatic Enigma with a guitar (in revenge for his summer car accident) to bring the Phenomenal One a huge win.

Prior to the Battle Royale, Rose and Brooke defeated Natalya and Lana in a decent match that heralded Lana’s revenge when Natalya insisted she was done after losing the fight.

Meanwhile, Zelina Vega commented on Angel Garza and Andrade’s match (which the former won in just a few minutes), but the real drama came after the bell.

Alexa Bliss and The Fiend came and put on both El Idolo and his collaborator to create a potentially fascinating storyline.

Elsewhere, The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier showed fans what they were missing as they kept the Tag titles in a jaw-dropping match with Robert Roode and Dolp Ziggler.

Ricochet channeled Eddie Guerrero in a grand tribute to Latino Heat after promising Hurt Business that if he lost to Cedric Alexander, their problems were over if he lost to Cedric Alexander.

After a very funny match, the ending was a nice surprise when the One and Only grabbed a chair, threw the MVP into the ring pretending to be hit and stole a DQ win.
