The internet has a new theory about the snowy owls in the fourth season of “The Masked Singer” – the brother-sister duo Donny and Marie Osmond are behind the mask.

The Snowy Owls – a pair of singing birds – have gone viral since the show’s fourth season began. Clues – which you can read about here – suggest that the duo are a couple who help make dreams come true and see themselves as “birds of prayer”.

• “Who is this? You can try to find out who we are, but who is more talented is a draw. “
• The birds said that humans haven’t seen them together in a while and that singing together is a family get-together.

So the internet went up on these clues and really thinks it’s Donny and Marie Osmond.

Of course there are counter-arguments. Others believe the snow owls are actually Clint Black and Lisa Hartman. I also wrote a piece for Deseret.com about what the snowy owls Chip and Joanna Gaines could be like.

Donny Osmond was also seen in “The Masked Singer”. He finished second as a peacock. So we didn’t see a repeat. That said, we never saw anyone get exposed until Mickey Rourke did it as a gremlin this season.

Donny Osmond told me in March 2019 that the show required a certain type of celebrity.

• “It’s not like a typical show where anonymous people want to get famous. They are famous people who want to remain anonymous. What really appealed to me is that all 12 people check their résumés at the door. We all started from scratch. And it didn’t matter how many gold records, films or books. We were all the same. After 56 years of show business, you want to find things that are challenging and fun. And that was definitely a challenge because I had nothing to sit back and relax on. I was just someone on stage, one of 12.
