Italian actor making the most of his UAE time before officially launching celebrity shout out service
So you're an actor, you have a bit of time off and a company has asked you to head to the UAE to launch their brand. It's a no-brainer, right? You nod with an enthusiastic 'si' and live your 'dolce vita'. This must be Netflix's breakout star, Italian Michele Morrone's thinking if his Instagram stories are anything to go by. The in-demand star is currently enjoying the high-life at the Palazzo Versace hotel when not taking a Ferrari out for a spin, meeting Dubai's business community or eating in the city's finest restaurants.
In town for the unveiling of celebrity experience app HalaHi this week, Morrone will be one of the service's host of names from which you can choose to record a personal message for fees ranging reportedly from $5 (Dhs18) to $700 (Dhs2570). People such as Mona Kattan and Bollywood's Zareen Khan will also feature. All you have to do is download the HalaHi app or check out the website, pick your celeb, send them the material you'd like them to record for you or a loved one as a gift and (if the celebrity is comfortable and the money goes through) you'll receive a personalised snippet from your idol.
