The news broke after Bollywood and fashion photographer Viral Bhayani shared a picture of Kakkar on his Instagram account. "Sad news 16-year-old sweet tik-toker @siya_kakkar died by suicide," the photographer posted on social media.
According to Kakkar's manager Arjun Sarin, the 16-year-old star spoke to him before her death about doing a video album."Siya was fine and she talked normally on the call," he told newstracklive.com.
On the day of her death, Kakkar had shared a video of herself on Instagram around 4-5 pm. In the video clip, the teen star can be seen dancing to Bohemia's Sharabi Teri' The TikTok star made this video five days ago and after this she reportedly committed suicide late at night. The video, which was posted six days back, received 5,33,704 views.
Kakkar had over 1,05,000 Instagram followers. She was popular for her dance and lip syncing videos on TikTok on which she had 1.1 million followers.
