And she considered that the virus caused an underestimation of the importance of the Holocaust, because members of the US Congress, public figures and activists on social media compared the restrictions of Corona with the suffering of Jews in the Holocaust, and they also likened the mandatory vaccination to the yellow badges imposed by the Nazis on Jews at the time.

And she added, “In the past year, there was an increase in antisemitic incidents around the world, coinciding with the (“guardian of the fences”” Sword of Jerusalem” operation in May 2021, which was a cause of anti-Semitic explosions.
And she pointed out that “during the days of the military operation (between May 6 and 21), more than 430,000 anti-Semitic posts were monitored on social media.”
She emphasized that “during 2021, the ministry’s monitoring system identified 3.5 million anti-Semitic publications in English, French, German, Russian, Spanish and Arabic.”
She explained that “there is a relationship between violent rhetoric on social media and acts of violence on the ground against Jews, who are seen as collectively responsible for Israel’s actions,” noting that anti-Israel demonstrations are organized in front of synagogues, centers and institutions affiliated with Jews.
