WhatsApp has added a new advanced search feature for both Android and iOS users. The new feature allows the user to filter chats and messages using advanced search options. And there will be new options for the user to search in his conversations and messaging through the application, such as contacts, outside contacts and unread, according to “WABetaInfo”.

The user can search within more than one option at the same time to find the messaging history more quickly.

WhatsApp has activated the new feature for both Android and iOS users, but it is available for the WhatsApp Business account only, as the company does not intend to activate it for WhatsApp Messenger accounts, according to the “Double Beta Info”.

Two months ago, press reports talked about the company’s plans to make a modification that will change the group system in the application, allowing users to create groups within other groups. It is also believed that WhatsApp is testing a feature that allows users to use the app on multiple devices.

The application is also testing a new feature that allows you to pause the recording before sending it (pause), and continue it later without having to start the recording again. The company also intends to introduce the global voice message operator (Global Voice Message). This feature would allow users to listen to long audio messages even when leaving the conversation.

The app has lost many users over the past year due to privacy concerns, while the competing Telegram app has attracted new users.
