Natural gas futures fell during the US session

According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, January natural gas futures were traded at USD3.933 per million British thermal units at time of writing, down 0.20%.

The session has already traded as low as USD3.909 per MMBtu. Natural gas may find support at USD3.723 and resistance at USD4.083.

The dollar index, which measures the performance of the US currency against a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.18% to trade at USD96.245.

Meanwhile on Nymex, January crude oil fell 0.31% to trade at USD71.45 a barrel while January heating oil fell 0.32% to trade at USD2.2443 per gallon.
