China’s customs data showed today, Sunday, that the country’s exports in October increased by 27.1% over the same period last year, exceeding analysts’ expectations, while imports jumped 20.6%.

Analysts in an opinion poll had expected October exports to increase by 24.5 percent, after they jumped 28.1 percent in the previous month.

Estimates in the poll indicated that imports would rise 25%, compared to an increase of 17.6% last September.
