The joint technical committee of (OPEC +) expected that the oil market will remain in a deficit of 0.9 million barrels per day, this year, but it will record a surplus of 2.5 million barrels per day in 2022, with the group increasing production.
It also expected global oil demand to grow by 5.95 million barrels per day, this year, in line with its previous forecast, and 3.28 million barrels per day next year.
According to a document issued by the committee, today, Wednesday, commercial oil stocks in the OECD countries will remain below their average for the years 2015-2019 until January next year, but they will exceed that average for the rest of 2022.
