(Montreal) Bombardier on Monday announced the appointment of Bart Demosky as the company’s chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Mr. Demosky replaces John Di Bert, who is leaving the company, Bombardier said.
The newcomer previously held senior positions at some of the country’s largest companies.
He was CEO of Universal Rail Systems, CFO of Canadian Pacific Railway and CFO of Suncor Energy.
Bombardier is continuing its transformation, which will see it abandon the rail transport and commercial aviation sectors to refocus on the construction of business aircraft.
It is expected to close the sale of its rail division to French Alstom at the start of next year.
