Riyadh – direct: The Communications and Information Technology Commission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the extension of the issuance of the application document for a license to provide services for virtual mobile network operators (MVNO) For public tender, and the issuance of two licenses to provide this type of services.

The authority revealed that the extension of the application period comes in response to the desire of interested parties to extend the deadline for submitting applications, according to a statement issued today, Saturday.

The authority announced that the deadline for submitting tender applications to obtain a license is 3:00 pm Riyadh time on (Thursday) 4/25/1442 AH, corresponding to 12/10/2020 AD.

The authority stated that offering this license will enhance investment opportunities in the sector, as well as support entrepreneurship projects, and stimulate innovation and diversity in services such as uses of the Internet of Things, content creation and diversity of services.
