Abu Dhabi Human Resources Authority, Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank have signed a tripartite cooperation agreement, with the aim of confirming strategic cooperation to develop an educational platform for banking in the Abu Dhabi Global Market, to develop the skills and capabilities of a group of talents and national human resources, and prepare them to work in the banking field within «Bankers Program». The cooperating parties will endeavor to offer the “bankers” program in support of the government’s requirements in sensitive job categories, as defined by the Central Bank, in line with the requirements for talent recruitment and management at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, and to hold national development programs (NDP) to help train new graduates and appoint them in The banking and financial field, as well as implementing additional training and development programs to achieve and raise their competencies in response to the needs of the concerned sector. Graduates who successfully pass the programs will be selected for appointment in their institutions through well-established and established evaluation centers. The “bankers” program will be designed and presented in cooperation with the London Institute of Banking and Finance, one of the Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy partners.
The Director General of the Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy, Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, said, “Through this program, which we offer in cooperation with the London Institute of Banking and Finance, participants will be provided with specialized knowledge in the field of banking and financial services, in addition to practical training that will qualify them to join the labor market in Abu Dhabi. ».
For his part, Head of the Human Resources Group at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Ali Darwish, said, “This initiative is gaining great importance, especially since developing the environment of the banking sector with an advanced approach is a fundamental pillar in ensuring the prosperity of the UAE economy.”
