Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has announced that it will grant employees of federal government agencies a discount of up to 15 per cent with the launch of the UAE government employee travel program.

Passengers can join the program for free and complete travel procedures through a designated port at Abu Dhabi International Airport and gain an additional 15 kg weight.

When traveling to Canada and the United States of America, passengers can bring an additional bag weighing up to 23 kg in Economy Class or a bag weighing up to 32 kg in Business Class and First Class.

“We are pleased to partner with the UAE government to offer employees exclusive travel discounts, benefits and rewards,” said Senior Vice President Sales and Distribution, Etihad Airways Duncan Beru.

Whether the reservation is for business or leisure, we hope that the new program will encourage more travelers to travel again. ”

Additional benefits include a 10% discount on Etihad holiday packages and take advantage of exclusive discounts with preferred partners.

To enroll in the program, employees of federal government agencies must be a member of the Etihad Guest program, the company’s loyalty program.
