The Emirates Gas Company, a subsidiary of the “ENOC” Group, and the Emirates General Petroleum Corporation, “Emarat”, announced the new gas prices, following the Ministry of Energy’s decision to reduce domestic gas prices by 24 percent of its market value.

The two companies said that domestic gas prices, as of October 1, are as follows:

  • The price of the 11 kg cylinder is 60 dirhams instead of 87.15 dirhams
  • The price of the 22 kg cylinder is 115 dirhams instead of 124.75 dirhams
  • The price of the 44 kg drum is 230 dirhams instead of 299.25 dirhams

It is noteworthy that Emirates Gas and the Emirates General Petroleum Corporation “Emarat” launched earlier a new seal for LPG cylinders with the aim of enhancing the safety of consumers and maintaining the availability of high-quality products in the market. In addition to a special serial number that helps prevent unlicensed distributors or unapproved private companies from illegal distribution of LPG cylinders.
