As of March 20 until April 30, the General Command of Umm Al Quwain Police begins reducing fines for the traffic violations committed in the emirate for all vehicles by 50%, in addition to canceling the reservation of vehicles and traffic points, provided that the payment of violations will be done through the websites and smart applications of the Ministry of Interior.

According to Colonel Saeed Obaid Bin Aran, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, the step comes in light of Umm Al Quwain Police’s endeavour to adopt initiatives contributing to the happiness of community members and facilitating procedures by vehicle owners.

Bin Aran called on motorists and road users to fully comply with traffic regulations and laws to ensure their safety and the safety of others, and to achieve the goals of the Ministry of Interior to reduce traffic accidents and make the roads safer and more secure.
