Cyberpunk 2077: Rejected refunds from Playstation and Xbox

Some Xbox and Playstation Cyberpunk 2077 refund requests rejected. Many players complain about their suffering on social media – CD Projekt Red announced on Monday that dissatisfied customers could get their money back.

Cyberpunk 2077’s performance has been heavily criticized, especially on the last-gen consoles. Fans and media are more than dissatisfied with receiving such an unfinished product after such a long development period. The Digital Foundry experts described the performance of the AAA title on the PS4 and PS4 Pro as “unacceptable”.

Thereupon a few reports appeared on the net from players who had successfully returned their newly acquired Bug Fiesta. CD Projekt Red also offered the disappointed players in a statement to return the game on PSN, Xbox or in a store. In addition, the developer apologized for the immature performance on the Last-Gen consoles and promised improvement with the upcoming patches. Those who want to return the game anyway can count on the support of CDPR.

If you want to return a digital game to Sony, you have 14 days to cancel it according to the current refund policy. Pre-ordered content is also included in this set of rules. However, cancellation is only possible if the game has not yet been downloaded or streamed – unless the title is faulty.

Xbox, however, considers all purchases of digital game products to be final, according to the official return policy. However, extenuating circumstances may justify a refund. When making a refund request, factors such as the date of purchase, the time since it was released and the playing time so far are taken into account.

These guidelines are unambiguous neither at Sony nor at Microsoft. Players have to hope for accommodating customer support.
