DSM 7.0 is seeing improvements in almost every area. In addition, in the event of a drive failure, an automatic switch can be used to seamlessly switch to a cloned drive without affecting the storage pool. With RAID6, Synology promises a performance increase of more than 80 percent. Backing up an entire NAS system to another NAS is now possible with DSM 7.0.
