Johnny Silverhand sends you “for a ride” if you try to play Cyberpunk 2077 before launch

Cyberpunk 2077 is available to preload now, and players have discovered a curious Keanu Reeves Easter Egg if they try to release the game early via GOG Galaxy.

The discovery was posted on Reddit by user jmendo02. The thing is, once you launch the game after preloading it through the GOG Galaxy service, you’ll see a landfill view. Next, you’ll get a very cheeky line from Reeves’ character, Johnny Silverhand. It says: “Go back to sleep, Samurai! It’s not December 10 yet.”.

We’re sure this tongue-in-cheek Easter egg won’t make it any easier for fans looking forward to the game’s official launch later this week, but it’s a nice nod from CD Projekt Red.
