Real Madrid vs Alaves Cordero Vega ignored Brazilian’s appeals
Real Madrid lost to Alaves on Saturday, but the game didn’t pass without controversy. Marcelo wanted a penalty when he had his hair pulled by Alaves’ Victor Laguardia, but referee Adrian Cordero Vega waved away the appeals.
“He pulled my hair! He pulled my hair!” Marcelo yelled at the official having gone down, waiting for VAR to intervene, but it didn’t.
The referee, though, wasn’t interested.
“He put his hand on you but he kept running,” the official responded to the Brazilian.
Marcelo was far from pleased with that attempt of an explanation.
“What a disgrace,” was the full-back’s response.
