Black Ops Cold War Prestige System: Seasonal Master Ranks

Treyarch has finally revealed the details of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War progression system.

As part of the initial announcement on November 5th with Warzon’s uniform progress details, Treyarch revealed that a “new Prestige” system is coming into play.

In a detailed blog post on the Treyarch website, the studio has now published further details on exactly this “new Prestige” system.

The system features Seasonal Prestige Ranks, Prestige Master Ranks, and more, all combined for the ultimate experience. This new progression path will be available in Black Ops Cold War, Warzone, and Modern Warfare.

As always, part of that experience on Launch Day will be starting the player progression journey from level 1 to 55 to unlock new content for creating a class. During the beta, we showed players what to expect up to level 40. Today we’re here to find out all the details behind our deepest Prestige system yet Black Ops Cold War.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PRESTIGIOUS

We have heard from countless community members who live for the “grind”, invest the time and effort in earning unique Prestige symbols with each new milestone and show the rest of the world their level of prestige. We know the thrill of pursuing the coveted title of Prestige Master and the boastful rights that come with every new game.

We also saw a significant portion of the players – including veterans of the Black Ops Series that have been with us for a long time – that vote often Not Prestige because they don’t want to lose access to the content needed to create a class that they worked so hard to unlock by reaching level 55. In addition, once launched, Seasons now provide their own leveling paths War zoneWe’ve heard from players who want to see their progress continue to make more sense through the various seasons.

With all of this feedback, our designers set out to come up with a new progression system that builds on all the elements players love about Prestige and make some exciting new advances:

• Make progress towards more prestige levels than ever before without losing the content you have already acquired.
• The best of both worlds: There’s always a new destination, and your progress toward prestige continues to grow with the seasons.
• Each new season features more Prestige Milestones, new Seasonal Challenges to unlock, and more rewards to earn.

SEASONAL PRESTIGE: OUR DEEPEST PROGRESS STILL

From day one in Black Ops Cold WarPlayers begin the traditional progression path from military rank 1 to 55 to unlock new weapons, perks, wild cards, score breaks, field upgrades, equipment, and more. And that is just the beginning. Beyond this point, your Prestige Seasonal Journey begins at Season level 1.

After completing the military ranks at level 55, enter the progression path for the seasonal level and you will automatically earn yours first prestige In season 1, you keep all the already unlocked content for creating a class. In the preseason between the start and the beginning of the first season, you have the opportunity to achieve up to three prestige and a weapon draft at season level 50:

• Prestige 1 at season level 1
• Prestige 2 and Weapons blueprint at season level 50
• Prestige 3 at season level 100

From the first season in December, your level will reset with each new season and your progress will continue from the highest prestige you achieved in the previous season. Every season offers four more prestige achievable in the first 200 levels, plus a new weapon draft that can be earned at level 50:

• New prestige and Weapons blueprint at season level 50
• New prestige at season level 100
• New prestige at season level 150
• New prestige at season level 200

This means that you can earn up to three prestige before the first season and then up to four prestige per season 25+ Prestige over all seasons. You will always make progress towards the Prestige that comes after your current one, and you can catch up with the latest Prestige available if you didn’t get it in the previous season.

Show your mastery

If you reach level 200 in any season you will also get the title Prestige Master for this season. Your Prestige Level color will change to show your Prestige Master status and you can personalize your Prestige Icon with Legacy Prestige Icons from previous versions call of Duty Games that you have unlocked (more details on this below).

The journey doesn’t stop there if you want to keep climbing. Once you have reached the Prestige Master in a season, you can move up to the end Level 1000 every season, with milestone rewards earned every 50 levels along the way.

With the Seasonal Prestige system, you always have a single, continuous path of progress across all seasons, with more prestige rewards than ever before.

How does this compare to the traditional Prestige system in previous games? Sum up:

• 25+ Prestige Levels Conquer over all seasons (including the time between the start and the first season) instead of just earning 10 prestige.
• Six prestige championship titles earn by reaching level 200 each season instead of just one chance throughout the game.
• 1000 Levels To climb in any season when Prestige Master is not a challenge enough.
• Milestone rewards earn all 50 season tiers.
• For the first time, Keep all of your content for creating a class after you prestige.

SEASON CHALLENGES

Also new from season 1 Seasonherausforderungen offers even more opportunities to earn rewards each season. These offer two collections of 20 business cards per season in Black Ops Cold War (20 for multiplayer and 20 for zombies), with new challenges that are ungated in both collections every 10 levels up to level 200.

Once a Season Challenge is ungated, it can be continued and completed in order to receive the associated business card. After a player has earned all the business cards in a collection, he receives an animated calling card for the season champion as a reward. Collect them all!

PRESTIGING IS KEY

Not only can you unlock unique prestige symbols with each new prestige level, but you can also earn money Prestige key as a milestone rewarded all 50 season levels. In the new Prestige Shop, You can use Prestige Keys to unlock Legacy Prestige symbols from previous games that can be equipped once you have achieved the title of Prestige Master this season.

The Prestige Shop will be available in Season 1 for players who enter Prestige and have earned their first Prestige Key. Prestige Shop content can only be unlocked with Prestige Keys earned by playing the game. As soon as you have activated the Prestige Shop, it will be available from that point on. With 1000 levels available per season, you can reach up to 20 milestones per season.

Milestone rewards can also include Battle Pass Tier Skips to unlock more Battle Pass system content for use in Black Ops Cold War and War zone. Apropos War zoneWe have more good news …

A NEW GLOBAL LEVELING SYSTEM

Best of all, this new player progression system is also expanding Black Ops Cold War later that year. From the first season in December, Seasonal Prestige becomes new leveling trip above War zone and Modern WarfareAll players begin this new progression path without losing any previously earned content.
