Acer introduced the new ConceptD series back in 2019. Acer markets them for content creators, engineers and the range includes mobile workstations, professional displays, AR / VR headsets, etc. Accordingly, the new models are also aimed (via Windows Central) at creators with “desktop caliber performance”. First, the new ConceptD laptops have two models – ConceptD 7, ConceptD 7 Pro. Both have similar specifications to the 10th generation Intel CPU, but differ in the graphics.
The ConceptD 7 features the RTX 2080 Super Max-Q GPU from NVIDIA, while the ConceptD 7 Pro features the Quadro RTX 5000 Max-Q and Quadro RTX 3000 options.

Both have a 15.6-inch IPS display with a maximum brightness of 400 nits. It is a 4K display with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels and the validation “PANTONE”. It covers 100% Adobe RGB and has an accuracy of Delta E.
This is paired with 16GB of DDR4 dual-channel RAM that can be upgraded to 32GB. Storage options include 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD with RAID 0 configuration. Other functions are DTS X: Ultra Audio, Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i, Thunderbolt 3 connection, battery life of up to 7 hours and Windows 10 Pro ex works.
ConceptD 300 Desktop
The ConceptD 300 from Acer is aimed at people who work more with BIM and CAD projects. According to Acer, the powerful mid-tower desktop can handle 3D modeling and animation. The dimensions of the 18 liter tower case are 200mm x 406mm x 375mm and can fit on a desk.
The ConceptD 300 desktop is available in two options: Intel’s 10th generation Core i5 and i7 configurations. For the GPU, we offer the Quadro P2200, RTX 2070 Super, and RTX 3070 options from NVIDIA. For faster memory, the Intel CPU is coupled with up to 64 GB DDR4 RAM at 2666 MHz. Storage options include up to 4 TB hard drive and 1 TB M.2 PCIe SSD.
For connectivity we have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1. There is also one PCIe x16 and two M.2 expansion slots. It runs Windows 10 Pro by default.
