Huawei’s new smart glasses are coming

Huawei today announces its new generation of smart glasses, to listen to music with style (and discretion): let’s talk about Huawei x Gentle Monster Eyewear II. Exactly as already seen for the first model, these are glasses (with dark lenses or not) with touch controls on the temple and small speakers directed towards the ear. Visually, they’re virtually indistinguishable from a normal pair of glasses, but inside a little bundle of tech that lets you listen to music or talk on the phone. In this new model, we find a greater level of control: just “pinch” the left branch to associate the glasses with the smartphone, by sliding you can adjust the volume and change tracks, while a double tap activates the Smart Voice Assistant.

In addition, thanks to proximity sensors, the Huawei x Gentle Monster Eyewear II glasses automatically recognize when worn and removed, and automatically play or pause music playback. Finally, with this new generation, autonomy also improves: up to 5 hours without interruption with a single charge and support for wireless charging.
