From a TV show, radio, or business – you’ll be thinking about it until you finally hear it snap again. Now, Google has a new way See for yourself. You can now set your phone, sing or whistle.

The technology of matching sounds against a database of songs recognized by singing, buzzing, and whistling – rather than just lyrics – has been around for over a decade and is a staple of the Soundhound music app Stand 2009.

To take advantage of the new Google feature, pick up your phone and open the latest version of the Google app or the Google search widget. Then press microphone Icon and “What kind of song is that?” You can also press Find the song Button. Finally, start tuning, singing, or whistling to get your results.
