A YouTuber named Kibo was determined enough to create fan-created winning themes for Undertales Frisk and Bad Fur Day’s Conker that were inspired by Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. And they sound real.

Kibo is a cover artist on YouTube who takes songs from various video games and adapts them to the fast Super Smash Bros. sound. This time around, they created victory themes for 10 characters, some of which are very unlikely to appear in Smash. However, anything is possible with Steve from Minecraft and Joker from Persona 5 in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

These riffs from the original games fit the Super Smash Bros style perfectly as they sum up the overwhelming elements of the song in 10 seconds. Most of these tracks taper off at the perfect moment with a pelvic crash or a sustained note. Kibo’s winning themes also sound appropriately significant.

The first and most unlikely choice is Bubsy. the Sonic the Hedgehog-inspired bobcat. Kibo is based on “Field Yield” in the SNES title “Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind”. While his last game was okay at best, let’s hope this cat doesn’t make it into the game.

Frisk’s winning theme is inspired by Undertal’s opening theme “Once Upon a Time”. You speed up the track, add a few drums and everything sounds good. We hope that when Frisk joins the game it will sound like that. Since Undertale was one of our indie games of the decade, we’d love to see Frisk join the fight.

The best of the bunch is, in our opinion, Conker’s winning theme. It takes the beginning of the legendary “Windy” track by Conker: Live and Reloaded and strays it off with a pelvic crash and a final note to round off its bizarre nature.

Other characters Kibo wanted to attack include Steve, the coveted geno from Super Mario RPG, Freddy Fazbear from Five Nights at Freddy’s, Kris from Deltarune, Dr. Mario (strange since he’s already in the game), Ristar and Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club.

Ever since Cloud from Final Fantasy VII to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Nintendo partnered with Microsoft for Banjo & Kazooie, the sky seems to be the limit for this crazy love letter to video games. We think Master Chief would be pretty cool, but Crash Bandicoot would be an excellent choice too. We could see the retro console wars in game form with PlayStation (Crash), Sega (Sonic), and Nintendo (Mario).
