XXXTentacion’s new posthumous clip sparks scandal

The team responsible for communicating on the heritage of XXXTentacion multiplies the blunders these last hours. After having relaunched the murdered rapper’s Instagram account in June 2018 to organize a Live and press the exit of the clip accompanying the song Chase / Glass Shards (featuring with Ikabodveins), the team in question suffered a torrent of criticism. And no matter if Cleopatra Bernard, X’s mother, intervened on the live, it doesn’t work. The idea of ​​promoting an artist’s title in this way and in this way is perceived as an insult to his memory, as many Internet users confirm: «XXXTentacion’s label used their Instagram account to launch a live and promote an artist’s video. It’s sickening no matter how you take it.» Another person will put the blame on the artist’s mother, often criticized for profiting from the drama of XXX’s death: «XXXTentacion’s mother deserves to end up in prison.» The name of Cleopatra Bernard had already returned in a previous case, even more serious. She is accused of having got her hands on 11 million dollars, an amount supposed to go to XXX’s half-brother.

A new clip posthumously

Getting back to the song Chase / Glass Shards just clipped, he originally appeared on the posthumous project Bad Vibes Forever, published on streaming platforms last December. Recorded with Ikabodveins, it shows the latter in the video. The artist will even hum the verses of X in front of the camera.
