The ongoing beta version of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War later introduces Double XP for all players later today.

Activision and Treyarch announced that Double XP and Double Gun XP will be enabled for all Black Ops Cold War beta players later today at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. BST. This is the usual reset time for Call of Duty activities when challenges typically reset and new rewards are introduced.

The second week of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta went live yesterday, October 15th. Currently, the beta is open to all PS4 players, but for now it’s only available to those who pre-ordered the full game on PC and Xbox One. However, that changes tomorrow October 17th when the beta is fully open to all players on all platforms, regardless of whether they pre-ordered the game or not.

Yesterday, just before the beta went live for PS4 players, Activision and Treyarch introduced the new Fireteam: Dirty Bomb mode. The 40-player mode, which is available in the current beta phase, consists of 10 teams of four players each who compete against each other and try to find uranium and deposit it in various bombs on the map.

When Black Ops Cold War launches for current generation consoles on November 13th, there will be cross-play between all of the above platforms. PC, PS4 and Xbox One players will all play against each other in multiplayer mode, and Activision announced back in August that this cross-play feature actually includes the game’s Zombies mode. Black Ops Cold War will be released on PS5. Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S later in the year, but Activision hasn’t announced when.
