Now OnePlus is turning to the world of gaming for inspiration and has its sights set on one of the hottest games on the market – Cyberpunk 2077 – to spice up the OnePlus 8T.
The official OnePlus handle for Weibo has announced that the Cyberpunk 2077 edition of the OnePlus 8T will continue Presale in China from November 4th. Unfortunately, OnePlus has yet to detail the Cyberpunk 2077-style aesthetic changes that the upcoming limited-edition device will flaunt. The short teaser trailer released by the company only shows the phone from the front, and it appears that the call screen includes a custom theme inspired by the highly anticipated game. We expect the internals such as processor, camera setup, and battery capacity to stay the same. However, the company could give the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition a small performance boost by packing in more RAM when previous McLaren Edition OnePlus phones are eligible. Aside from Cyberpunk 2077’s obvious impact on the phone’s exterior, we also expect the phone to come with some software enhancements such as custom wallpapers, themes, and icons, to name a few. We could also get some Easter eggs.
