Maserati confirms local pricing for the MC20 supercar

Maserati has confirmed local prices for its first supercar in 15 years Maserati MC20, should go on the market next year $ 438,000 plus road cost. The MC20 is powered by a Maserati designed and constructed mid-size twin turbo V6 with outputs from 470 kW and 730 Nm. The drive is transferred to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic double clutch. Maserati claims it can complete the sprint from 0-100 km / h in under 2.9 seconds while the dashboard from a standstill after 200 km / h is shipped in only 8.8 seconds. The top speed is 325 km / h.

Under the skin, a carbon fiber monocoque with an aluminum subframe, which was designed and manufactured in collaboration with the Italian racing manufacturer Dallara, has resulted in an empty weight of around 1500 kg.

Dramatic butterfly doors provide access to the two-seater cabin, which is a study of restrained minimalism and enhances the sporty feel of the MC20. High quality materials are used everywhere, including a lot of carbon fiber and Alcantara. A digital rearview mirror hangs on the windshield and displays images provided by a rear-mounted camera.

The MC20 sits on 20-inch alloys with bespoke Bridgestone Potenza Rubber specially developed for the car. Braking power is provided by 380 mm ventilated discs with six-piston calipers at the front and 350 mm ventilated discs with four-piston calipers at the rear.
