‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ is one of the most successful anime of recent times, based on the equally popular manga series of the same name.
The first season of Demon Slayer was widely regarded as one of the best shows of 2019, winning the award for best anime at Newtype Anime Awards 2019 and Anime of the Year at Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2020.

The premiere of the second season of Demon Slayer was scheduled for October 2020 but had to be postponed due to the global coronavirus pandemic.

Demon Slayer season 2 plot…
The story for Demon Slayer season 2 will be a direct sequel to the upcoming film ‘Mugen Train’, which itself will be picked up by the season 1 finale.

Release date of the Demon Slayer movie …
The upcoming film, titled Demon Slayer: Infinity Train Arc, is slated for release on October 16, 2020 in Japan.

There are also plans to release a mobile game based on the anime later this year and a PS4 game in 2021.
It is not known what the premise for these games will be. However, if the franchise continues to tell the story for each feature, expect to see Canon material featured in the game.
