Prices for OPPO A53, specifications prior to October 13th release date

In August, OPPO announced the OPPO A53 smartphone in markets such as Indonesia and India. The phone was renamed OPPO A32 in China last month. A list of an unannounced phone named OPPO A53s has been published in the official OPPO store on Amazon Germany. The listing includes the phone’s specs, renders, and pricing, and also mentions that it will be released on October 13th (tomorrow). The interesting thing about the OPPO A53 towards Germany is that it has exactly the same specifications as the OPPO A53 that was introduced in other markets. Hence, it seems that the A53 is simply referred to as the OPPO A53 in Germany and perhaps other European markets as well.

OPPO A53s specifications

The Amazon Germany listing of the OPPO A53s states that they have a 6.5 inch IPS LCD panel with a hole-hole design. It supports HD + resolution and a high refresh rate of 90 Hz. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 460, currently the latest SoC in the Snapdragon 400 series.

The listing does not mention how much RAM there is in the OPPO A53. It is mentioned that it has 128GB of internal storage. The handset has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18 W fast charging via USB-C.

The OPPO A53s has a 16-megapixel front camera. It has a rectangular camera module with a 13-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a fingerprint reader attached to the rear.

The OPPO A53 is mentioned on Amazon Germany with a price of 189 euros. It is available in the colors Fancy Blue and Electric Black. There is a pre-order package that allows A53 buyers to get the OPPO W31 TWS earbuds valued at 77 euros for free.
